Hello Everyone,

Mike Sexton

I'd like to welcome you to my Wiccan box subscription website and tell you I appreciate you stopping by and I hope that you're enjoying your visit. My business is largely word of mouth so please, feel free to tell your friends and family about Bit O' Magick Wiccan Subscription Boxes.

I have been learning about Wicca since an ex-girlfriend of mine introduced me to it many many years ago. As I learned more about it, what Wicca is, what Wicca is not, which is just as important, I became very comfortable with it and it felt like a part of me that I had been searching for, was finally found. My mother was Catholic and my father was Protestant but even with this, I wasn't forced into going to church and having to read the bible day in and day out. We were taught about Christ of course so that was still a hard mentality to leave behind when I found Wicca. It's amazing just how ingrained an idea or concept can become even when you're not exposed to it all of the time, so for any of you who are dealing with something similiar, don't worry because it's quite natural to go through this when you're leaving one religious thought process and going to something very different in pretty much every aspect. I come from a very scientifically minded background; by that I mean, in most of my lifetime, if I couldn't see it, hear it, taste it, etc., I didn't believe in it. This was another hill to climb when I learned more about Wicca because, just as with most forms of spirituality, you have to have complete faith in certain things or it's really not going to work out. Both the shedding of Christianity and opening myself up to things I couldn't quantify in a scientific sense took time and some things are still being worked on, so again, if you have something similar going on inside yourself, don't be concerned; things will come along as they are meant and at the right time. One thing I like to tell those new to Wicca is that this is a lifetime journey, you're not going to switch from one mentality to another within a day or even a month's time. Don't be in too much of a rush to force things because it'll be that much sweeter when it comes to you naturally.

I'll not go into all of my history as a Wiccan but since I fully embraced my path I have been able to help others in ways I never could've imagined. I've worked with medicinal herbs for years because I was my mother's caregiver for a very long time and herbs helped to get her off some of her prescription medications that were causing her a great deal of nasty side effects so that wasn't new to me when I came to Wicca. However, working with other things such as energy, which I had actually been doing most of my life without truly realizing it, or at least not consciously realizing it but learning to control it better, working with crystals and more, took some learning, trial and error and of course, the occasional mistake. Every day is still a learning curve and I love it. Once I learned enough and felt confident enough to perform spells, work with crystals and work magickally with herbs, I was able to help out others in my family as well as my pets who are like my children and even people from across the world.

During this time, I've had the honor and privilege of helping out a lot of people as I said and in multiple ways. For the longest time I had people asking me or suggesting to me, that I should write a book on Wicca because it would be a huge help to a lot of beginners. Well, I've been a professional artist and graphic designer as well as web designer but I never really wanted to write a book. In 2017 though, I finally took the plunge and in that year, I not only wrote a book for beginners called "On Your Wiccan Way" but I followed it up with a more detailed book for those further on their magickal paths called "On Your Magickal Way" which goes much more in depth into things such as spell work, learning what time of day is best for which kind of ritual/spell and a huge section for learning about herbs, foods and crystals and a lot more. Both books, by the way, are available for you to purchase. You'll find the links off to the right hand side of this page.

Using my art background, naturally I've been very inspired to create various works of art for deities, for customers and so on. I've expanded my artistic talents from drawing and painting to include small sculptures of deity figurines for clients as well as myself as well as painting seashells which was a lot of fun. I've had clients who've ordered figurines along with small clay bowls I've made as well as plushies that I add specific herbs to for whatever the client's needs are. I've also designed merchandise including clothing and gifts as well as traditional art prints for Wiccans and Pagans which you can find in all of my online shops and galleries and when time allows, I have even worked on a few commissioned pieces. Wicca has truly been a blessing to me in so many ways.

I guess you could call me an eclectic Wicca. I'm self-taught along with the help of others who have many many more years of experience than I. My areas range from blending Celtic and ancient Egyptian spiritualities as well as some Norse and even a little bit of Native American. I show complete respect and love for any spirituality I embrace in my practice. I'm a huge ancient history buff so I've been learning about different cultures around the world since my childhood and it's really helped embrace and grow on my spiritual path. I also incorporate kitchen and green magick in my workings as well as other areas.

Getting to know different people from all walks of life, from all areas of the globe, thanks to the magick of the internet, I've been able to truly grow my own spirituality as well as to help others see other ways of thinking that helps them as well. I try to bring this into my Wiccan Subscription Box service I've named "Bit O' Magick". I've heard about such services for quite a while now but I noticed that the prices were too high for many compared to what you were receiving, so I brainstormed for several months to see how I could change that. How I could bring something new to this area of the internet marketplace. In that time, I have researched a number of subscription services, not just pagan/Wiccan but also other types of boxes that are available. Then I took some time to ask many pagans and Wiccans that I know what they'd like to see available and after some serious and mind-numbing number crunching I came up with what you see here! I strive to give every subscriber their money's worth with handcrafted items, different items each month and for Sabbat months, I include rituals, herbs and more that correspond to those Sabbats. When I create a ritual that I'll share with you in your subscription box, I create it using ingredients that are pretty easily accessible for most everyone so you won't have to order special herbs and tools to complete a ritual that I've written. I even include a small satchel of herbs that I include with these rituals for you to use. I try to customize each box the best I can. In that event, I ask you to fill out a simple online questionnaire that helps me to customize your box. The last thing I want is for you to order one of my services and then you end up with herbs or oils you're either allergic to or don't like the smell of.

As my journey on my Wiccan path keeps growing and taking me down paths I never expected to go down, I invite you to join me by subscribing my Bit O'Magick box service as well as buying my pagan/Wiccan clothing & gifts. We can grow and learn together!
