First let me say that ordering directly from me is only applicable if you live in the continental USA; unfortunately for anyone outside of the continental United States, the shipping prices are calculated differently and so it would be easier if you purchased my art through my online art gallery who are in a better position to give you the accurate shipping charges.
Below, you'll find my bird paintings with complete details about the material they're painted on, as well as the price. These prices are for the unframed paintings in the sizes shown below. If you're interested in one of my paintings but don't have the money for it right now, you can also choose lay-away* where you make four payments over a two month period and once the final payment's made I will get the painting shipped out to you and there's no interest charges with my lay-away plan! If this sounds something you'd be able to take advantage of, be sure to contact me and I'll give you the payment details.
Don't forget, art makes a fantastic Christmas, Hanukkah and birthday gift or for any occasion and shows you really thought about the person and wanted to get something they'd love. Your purchase is completely secure and the gallery & myself will see to it that you're completely satisfied with your art purchase. If you have any questions about any of my paintings or if you need commission work done, don't hesitate to contact me. As soon as I receive your email I'll be more than happy to answer any questions you have to the best of my ability and if you're wanting to speak with me on the telephone I'll gladly provide you with my number at that point.

I painted this piece to give two sides to the same story; basically it breaks down to the "glass is half empty; the glass is half full" mentality. In the background you see a rolling cloud bank that is coming towards the Antarctic Islands to block out the sun, as all clouds do- this could signify the extinction of life BUT in the foreground you have a pair of macaroni penguins in their breeding postures which signifies the renewal of life. It's this renewal of life that gives us eternal hope; no matter how many cloud banks come towards us, if we do what's necessary to keep ALL species alive and the chance for them to renew life, this will overcome all obstacles.
"The Rising Hope" is 20 x 15 inches; this painting is painted on heavy, acid free, textured paper with a radiant white surface. 100% cotton rag, 19 mil thickness. The price on this piece unframed is $100.
Please click on "Buy Now" and that'll bring up an email where you will need to send me your mailing address so that I can get the shipping charges calculated for you and I will email you the shipping price BEFORE the order is placed so do NOT worry; you will NOT be charged a single cent until you've seen the shipping charges and approved the order. Plus your mailing address will NOT be shared with anyone.

Whenever you see crows you probably see a basic black bird but they're also one of the smartest family of birds on the planet; I've seen them sometimes think they "own" the forest they're in & that is the inspiration of this piece; a murder of crows foraging in a beautiful forest filled with evergreens and trees full of golden and orange leaves. They realize that once they've gotten the food they want they can just take off and be free such as the one crow that's flying proudly over the evergreens.
"The Forest of Crows" is 20 x 16 inches; this painting is painted on heavy, acid free, textured paper with a radiant white surface. 100% cotton rag, 19 mil thickness. The price on this piece unframed is $100.

"Long Live the King" naturally shows these beautiful king penguins on a beach; one is in the water after some food & in the distance you can see a lovely island. I also painted it to show that no matter how far away certain animals might be from us we're all connected- this is shown by the beautiful island in the distance from the king penguin's own world.
"Long Live the King" is 16 x 19-13/16 inches; this painting is painted on heavy, acid free, textured paper with a radiant white surface. 100% cotton rag, 19 mil thickness. The price on this piece unframed is $100.

A friend gave me an idea to paint a picture of a momma bird with her fledglings leaving the nest. It was a big challenge because I've never painted a bird nest or fledglings for that matter. I brainstormed the idea and decided to paint blue jays since I've not painted them before either. I changed the idea a little so that one of the fledglings & the mommy blue jay are encouraging his sibling to join him for a test flight to try out their wings.
"Leaving the Nest" is 16 x 20 inches; this painting is painted on heavy, acid free, textured paper with a radiant white surface. 100% cotton rag, 19 mil thickness. The price on this piece unframed is $100.

We all dream of soaring free & this painting allows us to do so, at least through our imagination. Two crows soaring in the clear blue sky above a wonderfully lush mountain top are doing what we'd all love to do ourselves- so free!

Anyone who loves nature art such as animals in the act of doing something natural rather than just posing for you, will LOVE this new Eagle print!! It features a wonderful bald eagle perched on a rock in the midst of a stream enjoying his or her daily catch. I chose this pose because as often happens in real life this eagle is checking things out before having its meal; usually once one eagle snags a fish, several more come out of the woodworks to try and pirate it from them. Can you hear the water rushing in the river?

I went a bit of a different way than my usual style with this piece but I really like how it turned out. I call it "What the Future Holds" for a very good reason. The state of our environment on this planet is in great chaos & it seems animals keep getting the short end of the stick by the human species. I created this piece with the lush green grass and cat-tails in the forefront to show hope for what could still be regained if we just put the entire planet's needs on our priority list rather than just what's good for the human race. The darker somber trees in the background however show what might just be if we continue on our present course & the beautiful duck in the forefront with his somber eye on you, watching your every move could very well be the all important Mother Nature watching us and seeing which path we choose to take.
"What the Future Holds" is 20 x 16 inches; this painting is painted on heavy, acid free, textured paper with a radiant white surface. 100% cotton rag, 19 mil thickness. The price on this piece unframed is $100.
